MINUCCIANO III
Minucciano (LU)

Found on 5 September 1968 during the construction of the parking lot in the large square of the sanctuary. It is one of the most interesting because it is intact and because it was found in its original location thus making it possible to conduct an archeological dig to study the dating.
The arch of the forehead is very high, a perfect semi-circle. The face is delimited by a ribbon-like line that descends in the upper portion to indicate the nose. The only monument of all those of the Lunigiana that has a double clavicular line, interrupted in the center.
The armaments, like the statue of Minucciano I, consist of an axe of Archaic type, probably with a stone blade, and of a poignard, of which only the grip with a semi-disk pommel can be distinguished. Probably one of the most recent of Group B.
