Some female statues belonging to group B have some jewels around the
neck.
The stela of Filetto III shows a double necklace which partly lays on the
breasts. It is probably
composed by small stone beads which were frequently found within the caves of Copper and Bronze Age in the north-west of
Tuscany,
as for instance the Buca of Fondineto (Massarosa, Lucca), the Castle Cave and the Hell Cave of Vecchiano (Pisa).
Intead the statues of Treschietto and Sorano II have a collar around the
neck,
probably made with large metallic rings similar to those actually used by some african people. This particular jewel can be dated back to the
beginning of the Bronze Age.
