PONTEVECCHIO I Fivizzano (MS)
The smallest stelae-statue of the series from Pontevecchio with neither feminine nor
masculine characteristics.
The interpretation of this piece as a representation of a young child or a teen is
naturally without proof.
Like the others of Pontevecchio it is the result of a rather rough and primitive
execution,
and is irregular and asymmetrical.
It is a stone block utilized in its upper parts for anthropomorphic elements, with its
lower part left in its natural state.
