FILETTO IV
Villafranca (MS)

Found in 1926 approximately 500 meters north of Filetto, along the road to Bagnone.
It was one of the most imposing stelae-statues from the Lunigiana before the intentional breaking robbed it of its entire upper part, including the head.
It is characterized by a greatly conservative work, above all in the execution of the poignard, with the usual triangular blade, slightly convex, and an average hilt.
In the grip of the handle, one can note the protective piece in the deepened half-disk.
From the handle as well arises an ornamental pendant in the shape of a closed fan.
