This small feminine stelae-statue was brought to light on 5 January 1990 by mechanical means during the construction of the new hospital in Arco. It is in white marble and has an overall height of 86 cm.
Of all the Italian stelae-statues extraneous from the Lunigiana group, ARCO IV is the one that possesses, relatively, the most anatomically realistic facial representation.
On the front, one finds a face planned in a T-shape with the external outline of the mouth evidenced by fine chiselwork. It is bordered by a wide draping garment, perhaps a shawl that veils the close breasts, decorated on the lower border with small cups, perhaps representing small circular pendants. On the head rests a small dual-wire crown, to which sides are attached two pendants composed of disks with concentric circles. On the back, a mantle with a checkerboard of vertical stripes, alternately hollowed, is depicted.

The side illustration shows a possible
reconstruction of the depicted garment.
