a 115-years-old Mason & Risch Vocalion Organ in Pisa


The Waldensian Church of Pisa has a beautiful Vocalion reed organ, manufactured in Worcester, MA, by the Mason & Risch Vocalion Co.

It has three keyboards, 5 octaves each;
the pedal board is straight and flat with 2-1/2 octaves.
The case, in cedar wood and gothic shapes, measures about 3.5 meters wide, 3 meters high, 2 meters deep (except pedal board).

It is dated March 27, 1888 and has impressed the serial nr. 3114.

It's currently under restoration, by Gastone Mezzaroba.
