1.  The entry from Piazza XX Settembre

The tourist point this year has been located in a room dedicated with the purpose to give a warm welcome to the tourists. The office is on the ground floor of Palazzo Pretorio and the entrance is under the open gallery of piazza xx settembre.

The strengthening of the tourist point is one among many strategic projects of the municipal administration of Pisa, with the aim of improving the welcome service and giving useful information about staying in Pisa, and enjoying the cultural assets, the historical and cultural events and the local products.

The tourist point integrates the other information bureaus already working on the territory.

The premises – Palazzo Pretorio – are along the pedestrian area (railway station – Piazza dei Miracoli) and the place has been chosen because it is a natural crossroads of the main touristic urban ways.

 The tourist point will give value to all the activities promoted in the city and along the coast from the municipal administration and other institutions. All the activities will be notified thanks to the municipal illustrative material kindly provided by the APT (agency of touristic promotion) and by the citizens’ associations.

3. Students working at Tourist Point

The office opens on 1^st May and gives welcome to Italian and foreign tourists. 
The opening time is:
Monday to Friday  from 9.00 a.m. to 13.30 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday from 15.00 p.m. to 17.00 p.m. 
Some students of the language faculty of Pisa university contribute to the initiative, they carry out inside the tourist point a foreseen stage of their plan of studies
