Foreigners mothers who reside in the municipal land and have an indefinite
leave to remain may apply for maternity allowance if: -They do not have an additional security to stand birth; -They have a low income.
It's also possible to apply for the family allowance.
Documents:
The demand has to be submitted by the mother.
The demand must be submitted to the "CAF" within 6 months from the birth.
Application (it shall be delivered within six months since the birth);
Declaration
about familiar income (real and personal income) and about family unit (number
of dependant relatives).
The CAF provides for protocol of the demands
and sending it to ASL
The ASL provides for checking requirements and sending the demand to INPS.
The INPS provides for another check and distribution of the child benefits.
