The District of Pisa publishes a competition announcement for housing allocation in
accordance with local relevant regulations (Legge Regione Toscana 96/1996).
The people concerned can submit an application by using the forms provided by the
District in accordance with the time limits and the procedures laid down.
After the closure of the announcement, it is verified if the applications are proper and
complete and then the applicant will receive a score as laid down in the Legge Regionale
96/1996, in particular in the tabella B.
According to the score assigned, the rankings are calculated and then published and
displayed on the Albo (notice board) online for the next 30 days.
The rankings publication is announced also in the local newspapers and on the municipal
website, while the workers who emigrated abroad are informed about the score by a
registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
If an applicant has been excluded from the provisional rankings or wants to request a
higher score than the one assigned, they can lodge a complaint against the exclusion or
the score assigned in the provisional rankings by presenting a remark and/or any
additional document.
In order to lodge a complaint, the people concerned can fill out the form provided and hand
it in within the given deadlines. The Commission in charge will evaluate the application and
calculate the permanent rankings.
Whenever there is some available housing, it will be allocated to the people entitled
according to the ranking list and, moreover, to the family and the housing size and the
reservations provided for (the over 65 years elderly, the “young couples” under 35 years,
the severely disabled people, a competitor with an eviction…).
